Shannon Daulton

Shannon “The Cannon” Daulton was never a dominant player on the professional 9-ball circuit, but when tournaments shifted to one-pocket and/or bank pool, the offensive-minded lefthander has ranked among the best in the world for more than 20 years. The Somerset, Ky., native made a splash in January 1992, when, at just 19 years old, he topped Steve Mizerak in the final to win the Legends of One-Pocket event. Daulton was 19 years old at the time. He went on to win the one-pocket division of the Lexington All Stars tournament that same year and claimed the Legends of One-Pocket crown again in 1998. Gifted at more than simply one-pocket, Daulton was a fixture in the top 10 of virtually all disciplines at the Derby City Classic from its inception in 1997. He won the 9-Ball Banks division in 2000 and won the 9-Ball division and All-Around title in 2001. He captured the 9-Ball division again in 2003 and won the 9-Ball Banks division in 2015. Daulton claimed the U.S. Open Bank Pool title in both 2004 and 2005. He also played for the winning Team USA squads at the Mosconi Cup in 1996 and 2000.
