Day two of Amway Cup qualifiers saw two more players earn their spots in the main draw.
The first player to qualify on Monday was China's Yu Han, who defeated Shi Men Chen 7-1 in the final match. This is Han's second trip to the Amway Cup main event, and she will join the very tough group H which includes such stars as WPBA #1 ranked Ga-Young Kim and reigning World Champion Sha Sha Liu.
Ya Ting Chan was the second player to qualify on Monday, although that looked to be in danger in the final match. Chan trailed China's Bi Chu Qing 4-1, before coming back to win the match and earn her third trip to the main event. Chan's best performance at an Amway Cup was in 2007 when she defeated Allison Fisher in the group stages, but finally lost to Rubilen Amit in the top sixteen. Chan will join group D, where she will face Gerda Hofstatter, Kelly Fisher and Taipei's Shin Mei Liu.
The next two days will see four more players earn their spots in the main draw.
