Day two is complete at the World Ten Ball Championship and some of the top 32 players in the single elimination stage are now known.
Shane Van Boening made quick work of Taipei's Little Monster Po-Cheng Kuo on the tv table and scored a 9-0 win. The 32 undefeated players will be seeded into the final sixty four based on their total racks lost. With a total record of 18-1 in the group stages, Van Boening looks to be a lock for that #1 seed.
Other players advancing include England's Mark Gray who scored a hill-hill win over Thorsten Hohmann on the tv table. USA's Charlie Williams earned his spot in the next stage with a 9-3 win over Filipino Elmer Kalaquian. Williams total record of 18-6 should earn him a high seed in the next stage.
Canada's Tyler Edey earned his spot in the next stage with a 9-6 win over Indonesia's Ricky Yang.
Home favorite Marlon Manalo made quick work of Fabio Petroni and earned his spot in the next stage. Manalo is already joined by Victor Arpilleda, Demosthenes Pupul and Leonardo Didal in the next stage.
Reigning World Straight Pool Champion Niels Feijen had his hands full earl with Australia's James Delahunty. Delahunty stayed with Feijen until midway through the match when Feijen poured it on for the 9-5 win.
Wednesday will see winners side matches for Jeff de Luna, Oliver Ortmann, Sandor Tot and Ralf Souquet. We will also see the final matches between the players who have already suffered one defeat. Players hoping to earn their spots in the final sixty four after one loss include Raj Hundal, Shing-Chun Yang, Thorsten Hohmann, Stevie Moore, Gabe Owen, Ernesto Dominguez, Thomas Engert, Jasmin Ouschan, Corey Deuel, Johnny Archer and Konstantin Stepanov.
