Two days of play are complete at the WPBA Championship at the Hard Rock Casino in Hollywood, Florida and the field has been narrowed to just eight players.
Allison Fisher seemed to be on her way to a successful tournament scoring lopsided wins over Kim Jones, Belinda Calhoun and Helena Thornfeldt to get to the final sixteen redraw. Fisher's run ended in the first match after the final sixteen redraw as Sarah Rousey scored a 9-4 win to send Fisher to the stands.
Other winners after the final sixteen redraw included Kelly Fisher, Helena Thornfeldt, Gerda Hofstatter, Xiao-Ting Pan, Vivian Villarreal, Monica Webb and Karen Corr.
One match is already complete on Saturday, and #1 ranked Kelly Fisher whitewashed Helena Thornfeldt 7-0 to advance to the final four.
