The 2005 World Summit of Pool got underway on Tuesday at Slate Billiards in New York City with 63 players competing for the $25,000 in added prize money.
Matches are underway and top names like George San Souci, Robb Saez, Marlon Manalo, Jose Parica and Marcus Chamat are already into round 2. Home town favorite Joey Korsiak has already done the home crowd good with his first round win over John Schmidt.
Complete brackets are online and will be updated until a winner is crowned on Friday.
