Ronnie Wiseman completed a great run through the field to win the Reno Open at the Sands Regency Hotel and Casino in Reno from December 6th - 11th.
Wiseman scored early wins over Marshall Jung and Troy Frank but his 9-0 win over Shawn Putnam truly made him the favorite in the event.
Wiseman followed up the win over Putnam with a 9-6 win over Marcus Chamat to take the hot-seat.
Chamat took the trip to the one loss side and dropped a tight 9-7 match to Shawn Putnam.
Putnam would have to beat Wiseman twice in the finals to earn first place, but Wiseman would have none of it and scored a convincing 9-3 win in the first set of the finals.
Wiseman earned $12,500 for first, while Putnam settled for $7000. Chamat and James Laderia filled out the top four spots.
After the win, Wiseman thanked Obey Ciolus and David Cyprus with the Seminole Tribe of Florida for their sponsorship.
