Blaze 9 Ball Tour made its way to Raxx Bar & Grill for the 19th stop. Special thanks to Holden Chin and Rob Omen for hosting the event. A field 34 came out to play including players like Shaun “Got Some” Wilkie , Matt Krah, Jeremy Sossie, Oscar Bonilla, Liz Ford , Erin Mcmanus, Rob Omen, and Pete Tascarella Sr.
Leading the top half of the bracket was Pete Tascarella Sr. with wins over Jose Burgos 7-5, Jeremy Sossie 7-4, Oscar Bonilla 7-1, and Jorge Rodriguez 7-1. Leading the bottom half of the bracket was Shaun “Got Some” Wilkie with wins over Pete Tascarella Jr. 7-2, Robert Slayback 7-1, Mike Fingers 7-6, and Rob Omen 7-4.
Playing for the hot seat was Pete Tascarella Sr. vs Shaun Wilkie. This was a one way match with Wilkie winning the match easily 7-1 and sending Pete Tascarella Sr to the one loss side. Waiting for Pete Tascarella Sr. on the one loss side was Jorge Rodriguez. This was a good match with Pete Tascarella Sr. winning 7-4 to get to the finals for a rematch with Mr. Wilkie
In the finals it was Shaun Wilkie vs Pete Tascarella Sr. The first set went hill hill with Pete Tascarella Sr. winning 7-6. In the second set, it was all Mr. Got Some winning easily 6-2 and his first Blaze win.
Players to watch out for in the future: Rob Omen is back in stroke and playing great, Erin Mcmanus is getting in stoke for an up coming women's event. Best of luck to these great players.
