Monica Webb completed her second straight undefeated Ladies Spirit Tour stop at Bankshot Billiards in Jacksonville, FL on August 18th - 19th. The event drew a field of 41 players that included WPBA Tour Pros Webb, Helena Thornfeldt, Tiffany Nelson, Tracie Hines and Debbie Schjodt.
Webb and Thornfeldt faced off late Saturday and Webb came out on top in that match 7-3. First up for Webb on Sunday morning was another tour pro; this time it was Tiffany Nelson. Webb won this match 7-2. Next up for Webb was Debbie Schjodt and another win, this time by the score of 7-1.
On the one loss side, Thornfeldt was laying waste to the players left in the event. She eliminated Crystal McCormick, Stephanie Mitchell and Jessica Barnes before running into Tiffany Nelson. Nelson eliminated Thornfeldt and then Debbie Schjodt to earn a rematch against Webb in the finals.
Webb took a quick 5-2 lead in the first set of the finals and then held off a charge by Nelson to win 7-5.
Webb earned $775 for first place with Nelson taking home $525. Jessica Barnes finished in 5th place and won the WPBA qualifier. Follow all of the matches from this event with our online brackets.
