With the Covid-19 situation stretching on with no clear cut end in sight, more and more pool events are being cancelled or postponed.The biggest cancellation this week was the VNEA announcing that their 2020 World Championship at Bally’s in Las Vegas on May 20 – 30 has been cancelled. The announcement notes that the event was to be their “40th anniversary” event. Instead, their 2021 World Championship on May 27 – June 5, 2021 will hold that distinction.
Regional tours are also being forced to delay events deeper into their schedules. The Joss NE 9-Ball Tour has postponed their April 4-5 stop at Utica Billiards on the Boulevard, and the Action Pool Tour has cancelled the Bob Stocks Memorial 9-Ball Open that was scheduled the following week at First Break Bar & Grill in Sterling, Va.
