The Viking Cue 9-Ball Tour's Open One Pocket event at Cornfed Red's in Columbus, Ohio is underway with a full field of 32 players.
The field has a good number of top 9-ball players who arrived early for the $5000 added regional championship that will get underway on Saturday.
Top players in the field include Shawn Putnam, Danny Basavich, Dee Adkins, Larry Nevel, Jamie McWhorter and Sarah Rousey from the WPBA.
Putnam has made himself the man to beat with 2 wins under his belt and combined score of 6-0. Adkins, Nevel, Mike Moran and Chris Bartrum have also joined Putnam in the third round on the winners side.
Rousey caught a tough draw and had to play reigning champion Corey Deuel in the first round. She lost 3-0, but came back to defeated tour director Mike Janis by the same 3-0 score.
