Day two is winding down at the 2003 Glass City Open and the day was full of upsets.
One of those upsets was Eric Durbin scoring a 10-8 win over Nick Varner. The match went back and forth and came down to some great safety play by Durbin at the end. Durbin earned a match with Adam Smith on Friday.
Another big upset was Al Naif from Detroit defeating Buddy Hall 10-9. Naif will meet Joe Brown on Friday. Brown sent Tony Watson to the left side of the board 10-9 on Thursday.
Alice Rim's stay on the winners side of the board was stopped by Ryan McCreesh who scored a 10-6 victory over her on Thursday. McCreesh will face Jimmy Wetch on Friday.
On the one loss side, Pam Treadway defeated Randy Whitehead 10-8 to stay in the tournament.
Marquee matches on Friday will feature Earl Strickland vs Tommy Kennedy and Danny Basavich vs John Brumback.
