Marietta, Georgia- We are down to the finals! The Johnny Archer Classic is at its end with USA versus Philippines. USA's #1 ABP seeded Shane Van Boening taking on Filipino master Warren Kiamco. Both players have alot of experience playing each other in high profile one on one money matches. The Scorpion Cues Johnny Archer Classic is a Dragon Promotions production and sanctioned by the Association Of Billiard Professionals as an ABP International Points Ranking Tournament and hosted by the Marietta Billiard Club.
Kiamco kept control in the winners bracket finals as he handed Tennessee's Jonathan Pinnegar a 9-6 loss. Van Boening started his day from 11am and has played non-stop. His wins included a 9-2 drubbing of Mike Davis, 9-6 over Shannon Daulton, and a close 9-7 over Jonathan Pinnegar where he saw a 8-2 commanding lead disappear.
Kiamco and Van Boening have not met yet in battle this tournament, so it will be a fast and exciting one race to 11 finals.
