Stop 14 on the SE Open 9-Ball Tour took place at Katie's Cues and Sports Club in Raleigh, NC where BJ Ussery came back from the one-loss side to avenge his only loss and take first place.
Ussery went through the brackets untouched until the match for the hot-seat where he suffered a 7-5 loss to Josh Degler. Ussery then defeated tour director Tommy Kennedy 7-4 on the one-loss side to earn another shot at Degler in the finals.
The second match-up between Degler and Ussery went Ussery's way with a 9-7 score sending Degler home in second place.
Ussery collected $600 for first place, while Degler settled for $450. Kennedy and Robert Ray filled out the top four spots. Betty Sessions was the top finishing female and Adam Davis the top finishing junior player. They each earned $50 in bonus money.
The SE Open 9-Ball Tour will be at Doodles Billiards & Grill in Hinesville, GA on September 25th-26th for their next event.
