Today we had a conference call with the ABP's Attorney Dennis Walsh. After an encouraging conference call between Mr. Walsh, Shannon and myself, we are confident that everything will be worked out with the ABP, as all parties involved want a peaceful resolution. Shannon and I will be at the BCA Expo in Vegas this week to discuss financial support with current and potential U.S. Open sponsors. With the support of our fans, players and sponsors, we are convinced that all will be well with this year's event. Pat Fleming and David Thompson are diligently working with Television Networks to show the U.S. Open in other countries, besides for Asia, such as Canada, Europe and the USA.
In reference to Luke Riches latest press release, we apologize for our role in the mis-communication of Matchroom Sports funding arrangements, as we were under the assumption that the players were paid 30 days after the event, we have since learned that this is not the case.
We would like to thank everyone for their encouraging emails and phone calls, we are certain that the U.S. Open has the greatest fans on earth! We hope to see you all October 16-22, 2011 at the 36th Annual U.S. Open 9-Ball Championships.
Sincerely,
Barry Behrman
