After five days of play, the field at the 2010 US Open 10-Ball Championship has now been narrowed to just eight players.
Still undefeated are Hi-Wen Lo and Lee Van Corteza. Lo looked strong Friday night with a 9-5 win over Mika Immonen, while Corteza squeaked by with a 9-8 win over Manny Chau.
Six players are still alive on the one loss side. Shane Van Boening will face Charlie Williams on one table, while Rodney Morris takes on Francisco Bustamante on another table. The winner of the Van Boening/Williams match will face Chau and the winner of the Morris/Bustamante match will take on Immonen.
The finals are scheduled for 8pm on Saturday night, when we will crown a final winner of the event.
