With day one complete at the BCA Open 9-Ball Championships, the theme of the event so far has been upsets as a number of top stars made early trips to the one-loss side.
Corey Deuel, Gabe Owen, Charlie Williams, Ismael Paez, Charlie Bryant, Luc Salvas and Kunihiko Takahashi were all victims of 1st round upsets on Sunday. Owen's loss to Paul Potier wasn't even close as Potier won 11-1. Other top players who were sent to the one-loss side after tough draws were Frankie Hernandez, Danny Basavich, George Breedlove and Shawn Putnam.
Play continue all week this week in both the men's and ladies division.
