The $25,000 added Turning Stone Classic VI gets underway on Thursday with 128 players in action at Turning Stone Casino in Verona NY.
Top players in the field include such notables as Johnny Archer, Danny Basavich, Karen Corr, Kim Davenport, Corey Deuel, Thorsten Hohmann, Mika Immonen, Keith McCready, Shawn Putnam, George San Souci and Ralf Souquet.
Brackets are drawn and there are marquee matches already lined up for the opening round as Kim Davenport faces Ryan McCreesh, Joey Korsiak takes on Corey Deuel and Howard Vickery plays Danny Basavich. Of particular interest is the 3rd section of the brackets where Mike Davis, Johnny Archer, Adam Smith, Shawn Putnam, Joey Korsiak, Corey Deuel, Mika Immonen and Julie Kelly are all in the same group of sixteen players.
