Of the 25 players rated 100 or higher, 13 are already on the one-loss side.
Top names like Jeff Gregory, Paul Silva, Josh Palmer, Gilbert Arrellano, Joey Gebron and Gene Ventura are going to have to go the long route if they hope to win the tournament.
One top player who is not having any problem so far is USPPA representative Tony Annigoni, who has won both of his matches without allowing an opponent to win a game. Annigoni gave Jerry Deusenberry four games and beat him 8-4 and then gave Bart Brocklehurst five games and beat him 8-5.
