The first annual Mid Atlantic 9-Ball Championship is ready to get underway on Wednesday at the Holiday Inn in Chesapeake Virginia.
With a field of 94 players, this event may not have the largest field so far this year, but it definitely has the strongest. Almost every top 9-ball player in the game today is in Chesapeake including Efren Reyes, Francisco Bustamante, Earl Strickland, Ralf Souquet, Mika Immonen, Rodney Morris, Johnny Archer and many more.
Brackets are drawn and the opening matches get underway Wednesday morning. Marquee matchups in round one include Reyes vs Leonardo Andam, Santos Sambajon vs Michael Coltrain, Max Eberle vs Jeremy Jones and Ralf Souquet vs Scott Frost.
