Long Island City Bulldogs Team
Steinway Billiards and Tony Robles will be hosting a fundraiser for the Long Island City Bulldogs Gymnastics Team this Sunday, April 7th from 5:30PM-9:00PM at Steinway Billiards in Astoria, NY.
"I'm passionate about this fundraiser because my son is a member of this championship team. Just last month the team won 1st place in the NYC Championship and many of them came away with medals in the individual events, including my son, Jonathan Robles. " said Robles.
The team is in dire need of equipment before the new season starts. They don't have the funds for simple items like powder, cups and other safety needs that prevent injuries.
Robles has enlisted the help of his other professional friends in the business of which many have known Jonathan since he was a baby.
So far, confirmed players include Mika Immonen, Raj Hundal, Rodney Morris, Darren Appleton, Shane Van Boening, Warren Kiamco, Jennifer Barretta, Charlie Williams, Emily Duddy, Hunter Lombardo, Zion Zvi & Borana Andoni.
"All my friends mentioned above are committed to donating their time (assuming they are no longer playing in the finals at the Super Billiards Expo) to help these amazing kids achieve their goal of winning another championship." Robles commented.
