HOLLYWOOD, FLA -- Get your cue sticks ready as the Seminole Pro Tour's “Pool Players in Paradise” makes its way to Hard Rock Live at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Fla. from Nov. 11-15.
This five-day event will host the Celebrity Charity Pro-Am, WPBA Tour Championship and the Seminole Pro Tour Steve Mizerak Championship.
The Celebrity Charity Pro-Am will take place on Wednesday, Nov. 11 from 7-10 p.m. Everyone is invited to be a part of this exciting event. A $20 donation at the door will get you in as a spectator or you can get an upgrade to $50 and enjoy a delicious dinner from Renegade Barbeque Company.
Be a part of the action and play pool alongside celebrities and professional pool players. You can book your spot ahead of time at $100 per player, or $300 for a three-man team. Teams will be picked on location so get ready to shoot with the former Miami Heat player Jamal Mashburn, fine artist Romero Britto, sport celebrities, and professional players from the Women's WPBA and the Men's Seminole Pro Tour. This event will benefit Vivian's Kidz, a nonprofit organization founded by professional pool player Vivian “The Texas Tornado” Villarreal.

The WPBA Tour Championship and the Seminole Pro Tour Steve Mizerak Championship will be held side-by-side starting Thursday, Nov. 12 at 10 a.m. and ending Sunday, Nov. 15 at 9 pm. Sunday's matches will be televised. The 2008 defending champions, Monica Webb and Stevie Moore, will be playing hard to keep their title against other pros including Allison Fisher and Corey Deuel.
The grand finale of the 2009 WPBA Tour Championships will be made up of 64 competitors; 63 players will be invited based on year-to-date rankings posted after the upcoming WPBA Pacific Coast Classic, and the remaining spot has been filled by Ms. Theresa Nunez, a wildcard entry invited into this event and representing the Seminole Tribe of Florida. The points earned from this event will determine the top 48 ranked players at the end of this year who will move into 2010 with a guaranteed exemption into all WPBA events, making a high finish of the utmost importance at this 9 ball championship.
The 4th annual Steve Mizerak Championship is the finale of the 2009 Seminole Pro Tour, a series of 10-ball tournaments held throughout the eastern region and featuring 64 of the top male professionals in the world. Some of the pros competing in this BCA sanctioned event are Shane Van Boening, Thorsten Hohmann and Charlie Williams.
The non-televised portion of the championships, taking place Thursday, Nov. 12 through Saturday, Nov. 14th, will be streamed at pooldawg.com for the WPBA, and at seminoleprotour.com for the Steve Mizerak Championship. On Sunday, Nov. 15, the WPBA Tour Championships will be televised on ESPN and the Steve Mizerak Championship will be televised on the Sunshine Network.
