Atlanta, Ga (PR Web) NBA veteran Shandon Anderson (Miami Heat) and infamous radio personality Ryan Cameron (V103) have aligned to host Courts & Cues, a celebrity pool tournament and live auction benefiting the Shandon Anderson Foundation Boy's and Girls Club and the Ryan Cameron Foundation Leadership Academy. The tournament will take place on Monday, April 17th, from 6:00p - 9:00p at Atlanta's pool hall heaven, Barley's Billiards Sports Grill..
In commemoration of the most anticipated game of the year, Hawks vs. Heat, Courts & Cues was created to merge talent, celebrity, and goodwill. With tournament appearances and teams consisting of Miami Heat's Shaquille O'Neal, Dwyane Wade, Alonzo Mourning, Jason Williams, Gary Payton, Udonis Haslem, James Posey, Antoine Walker and Atlanta's best, this proves to be one of the talked about events of the year.
Sixteen two-person teams will compete round robin style in the challenge, with the winning teams advancing until a final round of play. Auction pieces and prizes include rare and scarce NBA memorabilia and signed pool items. "Both Ryan and I take extreme pride in our foundations and not only do we share a passion for community improvement, we wanted to give Atlantan's more opportunity for goodwill while having a good time", stated Anderson.
