An international tournament for the youth took place in Lodz (Poland) . Players from Poland, Ukraine, Slovakia and Czech participated in this competition.The day before the guests from Ukraine, Czech and Slovakia had played with representatives of school pool clubs: UKS 13 Joker from Tomaszow Mazowiecki, Snikers Rekoraj and Dragon Srock. Those friendly matches and participation in Junior Tour in Poland are the part of the International Billiard Academy which is organized under the patronage of East European Billiard Council and Mak Marketing. 135 people competed in the main tournament on Saturday. The best of the boys was Kamil Szaszor from Limoniade Arkadia Tczew who defeated in the final match Wiktor Zielinski from Hades Poznan 4:3. In the beginning Szaszor was loosing 3:0!!! Vitaly Patsura from Ukraine and Daniel Maciol from Nosan Kielce won the bronze medals. Magdalena Bonek from UKS Labiszynianka Labiszyn became the winner amongst the girls. In the final was better than Anna Wolak from Pino Debica and won 3:0. Agata Sidlo from Nosan Kielce and Daria Kuta from UKS Promyk Czerniewice got the third place. " I'm very proud to be a director of the tournament. 135 young pool player in one event !!!! It is fantastic !!! " said Dariusz Kobacki . " I'm very glad, that we have participants from 5 countries - Georgia, Ukraine, Poland, Belarus and Slovakia. I hope , they will spend nice time in Bulgaria on the Black Sea beach, play a lot of matches and get to know each. The best are also able to play in the tournament Dynamic Best of the East-Bulgaria 10-ball in Bourgas" said Marcin Krzeminski - president of the EEBC.
