The Green Room in Temple, Texas saw a packed house on Saturday, December 5, at their fundraiser to benefit a little boy who suffers from neuroblastoma…….brain cancer. “Cooper” is 3 yrs old and his parents are in their early twenties, in financial strains, trying to take care of their little boy who is undergoing chemo with only a 30% chance to live. The fundraiser accumulated $6500 to benefit the family including $2300 from Mr. James Barnett who matched the silent auction sales. We want to thank everyone who participated in this event, including Pool & Billiard Magazine, Poison Cues, Inside Pool, the WPBA, touring pro Kim White, and Ted & Sheryl Sofge owners of the Green Room.
Many people turned out to help support this worthy cause, including KCEN TV in Eddie, Texas who took a few shots of Cooper when he visited his own benefit to show us what heart and determination was all about. Not a hair on his head, with a smile on his face, he pocketed pool balls by hand as the camera man rolled. It was a good day.
We would like to thank all of those who gave their time, money and a little bit of themselves to help a little boy in need.
God Bless you all.
