Pool fans won’t want to make any plans this weekend, since all of the action will be at Sandcastle Billiards in Edison, NJ and on the Accu-stats pay per view stream as The Living Legends Challenge will run Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
If you look up “Living Legends” in your handy dandy pool dictionary, you will find pictures of both of these competitors with Captain Hook Mike Sigel taking on Earl "The Pearl" Strickland. Between them, they have eight US Open 9-Ball titles and are both members of the BCA Hall of Fame.
Fans of any discipline of the game should be happy as these two players will battle it out in 8-Ball, 9-Ball, 10-Ball, 14.1, Banks and One Pocket. All disciplines will be played twice, with one player needing to win 7 sessions to be crowned as the winner. As an added bonus, both players will be mic’d during the event.
The action gets underway Friday the 23rd at 1pm EST with 8-ball and 10-ball and will continue until a winner is crowned on Sunday.
