The Seminole Pro Tour's Steve Mizerak Championship is now down to just two players who still harbor hopes for the $20,000 first prize as well as the prestigious title. The final match, scheduled for 6pm EST, will see undefeated Earl Strickland face off against Shawn Putnam in one race to eleven.
Strickland defeated Putnam 9-5 for the hot-seat on Saturday, but Putnam earned the rematch with a 9-5 win over US Open 9-Ball Champion Darren Appleton. Both players have shown their A-games all event long, and the finals are not expected to be any different.
The final match will be taped by Fox Sports and broadcast on the weekend of December 11th.
