Earl Strickland scored a 10-8 win over Johnny Archer and will face Tony Robles on Saturday. Mika Immonen will face Shawn Putnam after Putnam's hill-hill win over Tony Crosby. Luc Salvas will meet Troy Frank and Danny Basavich will play Mike Davis.
The one loss side is down to sixteen players with marquee matches starting the day that include Johnny Archer vs Charlie Williams, Corey Deuel vs Charlie Bryant and Joey Korsiak vs Larry Nevel.
