Stop #8 of the Mezz LA 9 Ball Series opened up to a tough field of SoCal pool players, with Spencer Ladin (714) taking down his FOURTH tournament win in the series! Spencer defeated Rakesh Bunga (639) 9-6 in a single race final.
Spencer started his run through the field against Francis Lanag (613), followed by wins against Keegan Badour (618), Bob Jocz (582), and Rhino Lay (613) before defeating Rakesh to capture the hot seat.
Rakesh had a strong showing this event as well, defeating Luis Garcia (548), Chris Santana (574), Scott Doucette (581), and Jerry Lazzareschi (630) before being sent to the one-loss side in the hot seat match. Needing one more win to make it to the final, Rakesh stayed focused and defeated Season 1’s Top Shooter Chris Wedekind (638).
New members are joining weekly and the member base is now over 125 players! We have only THREE more regular season monthly tournaments for players to put up points, along with 3 Weeklies tournaments. There is still plenty of time to get on the Leaderboard and qualify in the Top 32 or 64!
