The Viking Tour Southern Classic Open is underway at The Pool Room 2 in Duluth, Ga with a field of 48 players competing in the One Pocket Division.
Matches got started Tuesday morning and the winners side is already down to just eight players. Matches scheduled on the winners side are Shawn Putnam vs John Macias, Brian Butler vs Danny Harriman, Cliff Joyner vs Jerry Slivka and Larry Nevel vs Jonathan Pinegar.
The one-loss side is down to eight players including Ronnie Wiseman and David Grossman.
Complete brackets are online and will be updated all week long. Diana Hoppe will be in Duluth towards the end of the week and we will have photo coverage of the event starting then.
