With an 11-6 win over Jeremy Jones on Sunday, Ralf Souquet has taken the hot seat at the 3rd Annual UPA Atlanta Open being held at Murphys' Brass Rail in Athens GA. Souquet ended play on Saturday night with an 11-9 win over Mika Immonen to earn his place in the quarter finals on Sunday.
After the loss to Souquet, Jones will be taking on Immonen in the semi-final match. Immonen eliminated Johnny Archer and Cliff Joyner on Sunday with back-to-back 11-10 victories.
Danny Medina, who was having a great tournament, had to forfeit his match to Charlie Williams on Saturday night when he couldn't continue and had to be taken to the hospital. Medina is ok and was released after seeing a doctor on Saturday night.
