The Joss NE 9-Ball Tour was at Adirondack Billiards in Glen Falls, NY this weekend for a $2000 added event.
Early favorites in this one included Joey Korsiak, Karen Corr, Mike Zuglan and Jerry Slivka who has been playing exceptionally well lately.
Slivka caught a first round bye, but had his hands full in the next round as Evan Broxmeyer took him to hill-hill before Slivka won the match.
After the match with Broxmeyer, it was smooth sailing as no opponent would come that close to beating Slivka again. Slivka cruised to the match for the hot-seat, where he crushed Jason Michas 9-1.
Michas took out his frustration on Bucky Souvanthong on the one loss side with a 9-2 victory, but he would have to be satisfied with that as Slivka strolled to a relatively easy 9-4 win in the first set of the finals
The Joss NE 9-Ball Tour will be at Trick Shot Billiards in Clifton Park, NY next weekend for another $2000 added event. Don't forget the $25,000 added Turning Stone Classic VIII 9-ball Open on February 22nd - 25th in Verona, NY. Tour director Mike Zuglan is taking entries for this event now and can be reached at 518-356-7163.
