Skyline Billiards (Brooklyn NY) to Begin Monthly 9-Ball Open Tournaments January 11, 2009

Beginning January 11, 2009, Skyline Billiards in Brooklyn, New York, plans to initiate a nine-ball monthly open tournament for those interested and in the general vicinity. The venue located at 2515 McDonald Avenue will impose a thirty-two player limit for each event.

The specifics for the monthly's include double elimination, Texas Express rules, winner rack and break (break from the box), with races to nine on the winner's side and to seven on the one-loss side.  

The first event will be held on January 11th with additional dates to be provided shortly thereafter - the entry is $65 entry ($5 green fees included) and will offer players payouts (based on thirty-two entries) as follows:

1st $800
2nd $400
3rd $280
4th $190
5th/6th $125
