Jayson Shaw went undefeated through a massive seventy one player field to the win the Joss NE 9-Ball Tour stop at Snookers Sports Billiards, Bar & Grill in Providence RI on May 30th and 31st.
Shaw had his hands full with Kevin Guimond in the hot-seat match; which went to hill-hill before Shaw could pull out the win.
Guimond made relatively quick work of Nelson Oliveira in the semi-final match 9-3, but Shaw had no problems in the finals as he ran over Guimond 9-1 in one set.
Finishing in 5th place, Jeremy Sossei ended the season atop the points list and wins Player of the Year status.
The second chance tournament on Sunday brought sixteen players back to see Joe Darigis come back from an early loss to Rob Pole and double dip Pole 3-2 and 3-2 in the finals.
This was the final regular season stop on the 2014/2015 Joss NE 9-Ball Tour. The next event will be Turning Stone Classic XXIV at Turning Stone Casino in Verona, NY on August 20th - 23rd.
