It was another strong field at the Blaze 9 Ball Tour stop at Skyline Billiards in Brooklyn NY on Sunday May 18th.
Leading the top half of the bracket was Mike Fingers with wins over Eddie Vazquez 7-4, Lionel Rivera 7-2, Jorge Rodriquez 7-3 and Tony Rodriquez 7-6. Leading the bottom half of the bracket was Eddie Abraham with wins over Barry Banks 7-3, Huey Moy 7-5, Mike Boyles 7-2 and Shane Winters 7-4.
Playing for the hot seat were Mike Fingers vs Eddie Abraham. This was a good match with Eddie Abraham pulling it off with a 7-4 win sending Mike Fingers to the one loss side. Waiting for Mike Fingers on the one loss side was Shane Winters. This too was a good match with Shane Winters winning 7-5 to get to the finals.
In the finals it was Shane Winters vs Eddie Abraham, Shane Winter has to beat Eddie Abraham twice to win the tournament and that he did winning both sets by the score of 7-5, to win the tournament.
