As if #2 seeded Charlie Williams' early loss at the Brunswick Mens Professional Players Championship wasn't surprising enough, #1 seed and reigning champion Johnny Archer was shown to the one-loss side by Frankie Hernandez on Friday morning. Archer and Williams will face off later today with one of them being eliminated from the event.
'Machine Gun' Luc Salvas also won his second round match with a 10-6 victory over 'The Earthquake' Keith McCready.
On the one-loss side, Artistic Billiard player Nick Mannino scored a hill-hill win over Joey Korsiak eliminating Korsiak from the tournament.
Other top players advancing on the one-loss side were John Schmidt, Tommy Kennedy, Mike Davis, Ryan McCreesh, Mika Immonen and Ronnie Wiseman.
