Johnny Archer has taken the hot-seat at the 2003 Glass City Open with a dominating 10-0 victory over Kid Delicious Danny Basavich.
In what was described as the best match of the year, Archer played perfect 9-ball and Basavich's only trips to the table were to try to get out of airtight safeties. In the entire match, Basavich made a legal hit on one ball.
Meanwhile, on the one-loss side, Shawn Putnam ended Brandon Ashcraft's run with a 10-6 loss and Danny Harriman eliminated Corey Deuel 10-8. Harriman has just eliminated Putnam 10-6 and is preparing to face Basavich in the semi-finals.
