John Schmidt won the SE Open 9-Ball Tour stop at The Corner Pocket in Kenner, LA.
Schmidt dropped a match to room owner Jamie Farrell on Saturday, but battled his way through the one-loss side to face Farrell again in the finals, where Schmidt scored a 13-7 victory.
Schmidt collected $800 for first, while Farrell settled for $500 in second place prize money. Local player Trey Baker and Glen Robin filled out the top four spots.
The SE Open Tour will be at Stix N Stones in West Palm Beach, FL on January 24th - 25th for their next event.
