The Blaze 9 Ball Tour Stop # 12 was hosted by Leisure Time Billiards. Special thanks to Leisure Time Staff for a wonderful event. A strong field of thirty-Three players came out to play, players like Santos Sambajon , Shin Park, Earl Strickland, Oscar Bonilla, Mike Fingers, Liz Ford, Erin McManus, Bo-ra Jung, and Carol Martorana.
This stop was run by the women. Liz Ford led the way by knocking the great Earl Strickland to the one loss side with a 7-4 win, Liz ended in 5th place. Then there was Erin McManus with a great tournament; she had Shin Park 6-2 before Shin Park stepped it up to win the match 7-6. Erin McManus finished in 9th place.
Leading the way on the top half of the bracket was Oscar Bonilla with wins over Darwin Vergara 7-4, Beau Baur 7-5, Gordon R 7-3 and Mhet Vergara 7-6. Leading on the way on the bottom half of the bracket was Santos Sambajon with wins over Michael Wong 7-1, Shin Park 7-6, Adam Kielar 7-5, and Liz Ford 7-4.
Playing for the hot seat was Oscar Bonilla vs Santos Sambajon. This was a one sided match with Santos Sambajon winning easily 7-3 sending Oscar Bonilla to the one loss side. Waiting for Oscar Bonilla was Shin Park, Shin Park took control of the match from the start and never looked back winning the match 7-1.
In the finals it was Santos Sambajon vs Shin Park. This was a great match that went back and forth until it was hill hill with Santos breaking, it only took one swing for Santos to come away with the win 7-6.
