The Joss NE 9-Ball Tour returned from the holiday break with a $2000 added event at Rack N Roll Sports Café & Billiards in Stamford CT with a field of 61 players.
Robb Saez and Ryan McCreesh remained undefeated until Sunday when they faced off for the hot-seat. The hard fought match went to Saez who made himself comfortable waiting for an opponent in the finals.
That opponent would be McCreesh again, as McCreesh eliminated Nelson Oliveira in the semi-finals.
The true double elimination finals between McCreesh and Saez went two sets as McCreesh won the first set 9-7, but Saez came back to win the final set 9-6 for the tournament victory.
Saez collected $1580 for the win, while McCreesh settled for $1100 in second place money. Oliveira and Darren Belliveau filled out the top four spots.
The Joss NE 9-Ball Tour will be at Comet Billiards in Parsippany, NJ next weekend for another $2000 added event.
