The C2 Bar Box Tour had their inagural event this past weekend at Instant Replay in Huntington NY. A field of 55 players of all skill levels competed. From APA players like John Walsh and Mike Crowder, nationally ranked amatuers Joe Cutler, Scott Ireland and Scott Casagrande, to Joss Tour regulars Tony Roberto, Flaco Rodriquez, Sean Morgan and Nick Schulman. Kim Segal, wife of world class artistic pool champion Andy Segal, was the lone female competitor.
Kim knocked out Mike Crowder and was one win away from the money round. After two days of tough matches, with a format that consisted of both 8 ball and 9 ball, loser breaks, double elimination, Tony "First Names Only Please" Ruberto went undefeated to capture the first prize of $2400. The C2 Bar Box Tour is a tour that is geared to promote bar table pool, based in the northeast, and formatted to level the playing field so "It's Anybody's Game".
