Sandcastle Billiards situated in Edison, NJ, are pleased to announce a $1,000 Challenge match on November 16th, 2012 between Ronnie Alcano (Phi) and Jayson Shaw (Scotland) on a 10 foot Diamond table. This is to be the first of a monthly Challenge match between the very best professional players that the promoters can bring you.
These monthly matches will be brought to the public via Free Live Stream by both Sandcastle Billiards, Accu-Stats Video Productions and London Bridge Promotions from the Simonis Arena.
Fans will be more familiar with the name of Ronnie Alcan from the Philippines, and maybe not so familiar with Jayson Shaw who hails from Scotland. Jayson has been the Number 1 ranked player in the UK, for both 2011 and 2012, with recent 2nd and 3rd place finishes on the Euro Tour.
Jayson, who is nicknamed “Eagle Eye”, is known for his aggressive potting style, which goes back many years to his snooker playing days. Jayson’s most recent high finish was 9th at last months US Open..
