53 ladies made their way to Fast Eddie's in Austin, TX this weekend for the season opener on the Hunter Classics Amateur Women's Tour.
To no one's surprise, it was Leslie Anne Rogers distancing herself from the pack and taking the hot-seat. It wasn't an easy win however, as Heather Pulford took Rogers to hill-hill before Leslie scored the win.
Pulford earned another shot at Rogers by handing Kim Tipton a 7-2 loss.
The finals between Rogers and Pulford was another close one, with Rogers pulling out a 7-5 win.
Rogers earned $750 in addition to the paid qualifier to the WPBA West Coast Classic in Alpine, CA. Pulford earned $600 for second. Kim Tipton and Nicole Menitz filled out the top four spots. Both Tipton and Menitz turned in their best finishes ever.
The Hunter Classics Amateur Women's Tour will be at Corner Pocket in Albuquerque, NM on March 19th-20th.
