The South East Open 9-Ball Tour got their new season underway with a thirty two player field at the newly opened Stix & Stonz Billiards and Grill in Douglas, GA.
Rod Rentz went undefeated through the field, including a 13-10 victory over Stoney Stone in the finals, to earn the victory. Rentz, hailing from Hazelhurst GA, collected $600 while Stone settled for $400. David Grossman and Benny 'Little Goose' Conway filled out the top four spots.
The top lady finisher was Katie Cowan who collected $50 and the top junior finisher was Cadey Spivey who also collected $50.
The SE Open Tour will be at Murphy's Brass Rail in Athens, GA for their next event on February 22nd - 23rd.
