Efren Reyes has won the World Classic Billiards Tournament in Fujairah.
Reyes started the day on Friday with a dominating win over longtime rival Earl Strickland. The first few games saw both players with chances at the table, but Efren always winning the rack. At the 5-0 mark however, Efren took complete control of the match and proceeded to break and run the final seven racks for the 12-0 victory.
Meanwhile, Francisco Bustamante was eliminating reigning World 9-Ball Champion Thorsten Hohmann to set up the all Filipino final.
As well as Bustamante was playing, he was no match for Efren on this day as Efren cruised to a 13-4 victory and a $12,000 payday for first place.
