Efren Reyes has scored another impressive win to notch his third San Miguel Asian 9-Ball Tour title this season.
Reyes trailed Korean Young-Hwa Jeong 10-8, but dug down as he has done so many times in his career, and won the last five racks for the 13-10 victory.
Reyes started the day with an 11-4 elimination of countryman Warren Kiamco, while Jeong was elimination Chatchawal Rutphae from Thailand 11-7.
Reyes pocketed $10,000 for the win, while Jeong was forced to settle for $5000 in prize money. Kiamco and Rutphae tied for third and collected $3000 each. In the history of the San Miguel Asian 9-Ball Tour, only Reyes and Ching-Shun Yang from Taiwan have won titles.
The San Miguel Asian 9-Ball Tour season finale will be held in the Phillipines on May 28th - 30th.
