Mike Davis will play for the point on Sunday
Day five is complete at the 2003 Reno Open and the field is now down to four players.
On the winners side, Cliff Joyner will face Mike Davis for the hot-seat on Sunday. On the one-loss side, Santos Sambajon will play Max Eberle.
In the final match of the night on Saturday, Santos Sambajon eliminated Johnny Archer. Sambajon raced to an 8-3 lead, but Archer clawed back to 8-7 before Sambajon put him away.
Reigning champion John Schmidt lost a close match 9-8 to Davis and then lost 9-1 to Eberle to finish in 5th place.
