“Reglas Oficiales de la BCAPL” Now Available

Mike Shamos, the Curator of The Billiard Archive, wrote an article in the July 2008 issue of Billiards Digest called "Who Makes the Rules?" Shamos assessed the newly released (2007) "Official Rules of the BCA Pool League." In his article Shamos said, "I have the feeling that because of their logic the BCAPL rules just may become the dominant rules of the game."

Since that time, the "Official Rules of the BCA Pool League" has been updated annually and is used worldwide both by both league and non-league players. Until recently the book was only available in English.

However, after 2,000+ man hours and 33,000 words translated, CueSports International (CSI) has released a Spanish version of the "Official Rules of the BCA Pool League" now available in read-only PDF format on the BCAPL website. A two year collaboration between CSI Director of Rules and Referees, Bill Stock with Ed Smith,  Manoli Smith, Willy Fishbach, Javi Belen, and Jose Antonio Martinez Ramos created a well thought out and comprehensive translation.

Expanding on the recent release of the Spanish version of the "Official Rules of the BCA Pool League", CSI is in process of making all translations available in the near future for smart and electronic devices.
