Michelle Rakin started the new Western Women's Regional Tour season right where she left off last season.
Rakin took the hot-seat with a 7-5 win over Eleanor Collado on Sunday at The California Billiard Club in Mountain View, CA.
Meanwhile, Jane Fujinaga was winning a hill-hill match against Jesse Killian. Fujinaga was forced to go for a 4-9 combo in the case game and missed the shot but got a fortunate roll as Killian was hooked on the 4 and Fujinaga ran out on her next trip to the table.
As if one hill-hill win wasn't enough, Fujinaga came back to win the semi-final match against Collado 7-6.
The final match was another hill-hill affair, but this time it was Rakin scoring the 7-6 win over Fujinaga for the win.
The Western Women's Regional Tour will be at Blue Fin in Monterey California on August 21st-22nd for their next stop.
