There are 9 open spots in the World 8-Ball Championships that are open for qualifiers from qualifying events to be held February 12-17 at the Master CLub for Billiards and Snooker in Ras Al Khaima, UAE. Anyone winning one of these 9 spots will then go into the main tournament which begins in Fujairah on February 19.
The entry fee for these events is $80 or 300 DHS for a single event. You may pay in advance for 4 tournaments and receive a free entry to a fifth one, so you get one free by paying for four. Every individual player is limited to playing in only five of the nine events. You may play in two events on the same day but the Tournament Director cannot guarantee any requested playing times if you do so.
The tournament hotel is the Holiday Inn Ras Al Khaima, a 15 minute walk from the venue. THe price for this hotel is $125 per night including breakfast for a double room. Deadline for registration is February 8, 2011. You may still register after this date but will not be guaranteed a spot.
