Q-Master Billiards Open 9-Ball Tournament Scheduled for July 26-27, 2008

U.S. Open promoter and owner of Q-Master Billiards, Barry Behrman, has once again taken a step in the direction of renewing the tournament trail for the players and scheduled his latest endeavor entitled Q-Master Billiards Open 9-Ball Tournament. The event is scheduled for July 26-27, 2008, and boasts a total prize fund of $10,000 based on sixty-four players, with a guaranteed added purse of $2,000.

The entry deadline, player's meeting, and draw will take place on Saturday, July 26th at 12 pm, with play beginning shortly thereafter at 1 pm sharp. Play will continue through Sunday and offer final round play at 7 pm.

This $125 entry tournament will be played on Diamond and Gold Crown nine foot tables, races to nine (finals race to eleven), double elimination. Both men and women are encouraged to enter and take a chance at the prize fund. Estimated payouts (with sixty-four players) are as follows:

3rd $1000
4th $800
5th/6th $650
7th/8th $500
9th-12th $350
13th-16th $250

As an added bonus for the players and fans alike, the venue will remain open twenty-four hours from Friday-Sunday, allowing spectators free entry to keep close tabs on their favorite players and the goings-on of the event.
